Lately I have been stretching daily and I actually love the outcome on my body as well as my overall well-being. I used to see stretching as a one off thing. - Flexibility: my flexibility increased and I noticed I am able to perform my daily tasks with ease. Research also show that it can also help delay the reduced mobility that can come with aging.
- Range of Motion: It increased my range of motion. Being able to move my joint through its full range of motion gives me more freedom of movement. Stretching on a regular basis can help increase your range of motion too.
- My Stamina Increased: I discovered it helped me build more stamina and resistance and this feels really good.
- Improved my posture: Research shows that muscle imbalances are common and can lead to poor posture. Another study shows that a combination of strengthening and stretching specific muscle groups can reduce musculoskeletal pain and encourage proper alignment. That, in turn, may help improve your posture.
- It relieved stress: it has not been easy working from home and home schooling 4 children in 4 different classes.
- Reduced Headaches: I have suffered migraines for so many years. I realized migraine has reduced completely. In addition to a proper diet, adequate hydration, and plenty of rest, stretching may help reduce the tension you feel from headache.
