Google online dictionary defines cancer in three ways; a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body. a malignant growth or tumour resulting from an uncontrolled division of cells. an evil or destructive practice or phenomenon that is hard to contain or eradicate.
Our focus however, is on the first 2 definitions. Cancer isn’t something anyone wants to be stuck with. Instead of waiting why not find ways to prevent them from even occurring. Different studies have revealed ways to prevent cancer and these include
Preventing cancer with good nutrition. A quote by Pema Chodron says ‘a further sign of health is that we don’t become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it’s time to stop struggling and look directly at what’s threatening us. ” Cancer is a life threatening sickness and we must face it. Good nutrition has been studied as a vital way to prevent cancer. Foods like fruits and vegetables, eggs and a lot of health meals
A healthy lifestyle: such as avoiding so much sweet things, cutting out red and processed meat (besthealthmag.ca). Getting enough rest and exercises
Vitamin D is very essential: test your vitamin D level regularly and ask your doctor what to do
Maintain a healthy Weight
Reduce alcohol intake and smoking should be stopped
Study your body: with this you are very likely to spot any difference fast.
