- Reduce your carb intake especially sugars and starch. According to Kris Gunnar- the most important thing to do is to cut down on sugars and starches. These are foods that stimulates secretion of insulin the most. If you didn’t know already, insulin is the main fat storage hormone in the body. Kris also notes that when insulin goes down, fat has an easier time getting out of the fat stores and the body starts burning fats instead of carbs.
- Eat foods high in Protein and low carb vegetables as well as fat e.g Broccoli, fish, meat, Cauliflower, eggs, Spinach, cucumber, lettuce etc
