Hello Moms,

Having 4 toddlers is very demanding because toddlers without tantrums seem rare. I have different ways of making my children act accordingly without having to hit or scream my life out.

Trick 1.
I tell my children lots of stories, I read a lot to them but this particular story stuck. If you are a Christian, you should be familiar with the story of Jonah in the bible and how he disobeyed God and God caused the whale to swallow him for 3 days.

When my kids decide not to listen or decide to be naughty, I pick up my phone and dial God.

Me: Hello God, there’s someone in the house who isn’t listening or being naughty, can you send the whale to swallow them up please?

My kids: Mummy please please (crying and pleading, then act well)

Me: when the whale swallows you up, you will not go to school, see your friends, eat raisins, no juice, no food (I list all their favourites) plus all the poop in the whale’s stomach will be on your body.

After 3 days when the whale brings you out you will smell like poop 💩 and everyone will run away from you. That is what you get. When Next you want to be naughty remember naughty behaviours have consequences.

My kids: I’m sorry Mummy.

My point is we have to learn to make our children understand that every bad behaviour has consequences, it’s never too late to start.
